Louisiana Leads AI — Campaign Manifesto
AI in education is still an emerging field. The rules aren’t set. The leaders haven’t been crowned. This is Louisiana’s chance to take the front of the pack and keep talent in the state.
By July 4, 2026 we must:
- Approve a high-quality AI Industry Based Certification so students earn meaningful credentials.
- Expand the AI tools library for teachers and students to match classroom reality.
- Amend computer-science standards to fully integrate AI and align learning with future job markets.
- Incentivize participation in a national AI Literacy measure so Louisiana sets the bar — and beats it.
Other states are tackling one or two of these.
